The review you just read of a business might be fake.

We highly recommend before buying a product or using a service, solely based on their online “Review”.   What most consumers are not aware of is that there is business’s out their that post reviews of their own business.  Then when you the consumer see’s the business or service with a high rating, you assume that the review is real, but is it?  A good way to spot a fake review of a business is to click on the review and see what other business’s the review has reviewed.  Generally someone that takes the time to make a web site review of a Auto Glass Shop, would most likely post other reviews such as the place that changes their oil, places they eat etc.

Believe it or not there is actually services that actually solicit companies to pay them to make fake web site reviews.  This really is kinda of disturbing, I know that the FTC has made recent changes to blogs  that force the blogger to state if it is a paid review etc.  I wish that they would enforce this more on the local reviews that you see when you are trying to find a reputable place to repair or replace your windshield.
